EA Sports teamed up with Cinco to work on the 2023 key art for soccer title FIFA 23, showcasing star athlete's Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr. The work was executed during the pandemic which called for creative solutions. This led to executing a fresh and fun design system utilizing athlete photography and branded graphic elements that flexed across all 3 variations for the different editions of the video game. The players were artfully styled and contrasted against classical architecture, brought together by epic compositions and branded graphics.
A clean and organized final key art file allowed for for a smooth transition into crop production and translating the art into different aspect ratios that brought the visual identity to life through digital and print applications.
